Going Beyond The College Prowler Essay Competition

A College Prowler essay competition used to be held every year crediting outstanding students with a scholarship. The contest was started by Carnegie Mellon graduates as part of an initiative to help college students search for information through a reliable search engine. Students could go online and search for relevant colleges and universities offering college education in a field of their choice. Going further, the search engine would list out answers to questions related to college admission. Content has been built up over the years. College Prowler has made a name for themselves as a reliable content provider. They partner with several authors from different fields who contribute to the library by providing guides to students who have difficulty in understanding the admission process or what they need to do on getting admission to a college. The institution no longer conducts the essay competition but has simplified matters by initiating the “No Essay” college scholarship with a $2,000 scholarship which could be used to cover tuition, books, computers, or other education-related expenses.
